With this project, we once again prove that modern architecture, ecological materials, and high energy efficiency can coexist in perfect harmony. The house is built entirely with a solid timber structure (KVH and BSH beams), and the attention to detail and control at every stage of construction make the home both durable, cozy, and beautiful. The result: a modern low-energy home with minimal energy consumption and a natural, warm character — the distinctive signature of Sponets.

Structure and Facade Systems

The exterior walls are built using the ECO2 system with a thermal transmittance coefficient of U = 0.14 W/m²K — a standard that ensures optimal energy efficiency year-round. The roof is insulated to the same U-value, and the roofing is a highly durable metal system by Lindab. The façade combines Baumit silicate plaster and a ventilated façade system made of thermally modified wood, offering a perfect balance of aesthetics, longevity, and the natural feel of the material.

Comfort and High-Quality Materials

The windows and entrance door are made of wood with an aluminum cap and triple glazing for high energy efficiency. The interior features lime plaster — a material that regulates humidity, breathes, and creates a natural indoor microclimate. The flooring is porcelain stoneware, chosen for its durability, easy maintenance, and minimalist aesthetic.

Layout and Comfort

The house includes a spacious living area, separate kitchen, four bedrooms, a walk-in closet, three bathrooms with toilets, a utility room, entry hall, garage for two vehicles, and a covered veranda. For extra comfort, both indoor and outdoor fireplaces are included, and the heating and cooling system is powered by a heat pump with underfloor heating and convectors — ensuring maximum comfort with minimal energy usage.
